Thanks so much to everyone who invited me to their book group during ‘Mr Rosenblum’s Great British Tour’. I had so much fun meeting you and eating cake with you! I never imagined that the book would take me so far… from Sturminster to Sydney and groups of readers from 6 people to 600.
I am now doing events for my new book ‘The Novel in the Viola’.

Natasha! I’ve located you! Was chatting with folk at Lucy Cavendish the other day and thought I had to look you up again!
Frens and I have also moved to a lovely thatched cottage – in Rutland! I have joined the village reading group and I am sure we would love to host you and your book – AND you could come and do a reading for my students too at the university centre! We are starting to offer a creative writing option there and we could turn your visit into a kind of launch event!
Congratulations on the book, I am really looking forward to reading it.

We are a Sixth Form College with a thriving reading group (of approx 25 students and staff) and would love a visit from you if possible. I’m not sure how far North your book tour is taking you but we’re in Preston, Lancashire. It would be great if we could open it up to the English students too maybe? They would be extremely excited to meet a published author!

I’m part of a book group in Clifton, Bristol. It would be great if you could visit us as part of your Great British Tour! We would love the opportunity to meet a real life author & discuss your book and how it came to be. There are around 15 of us and we meet in a pub on the last Thursday of each month. I am Dutch and my husband is English. We are departing these shores for our abode in NL on Tuesday (27 July) your book is coming with us. We are both excited by our first glimpes. He has one and I have one and we will discuss our individual take on your undoubted talents as a writer with a great future. Our feelings are that this book could well be a best seller. Well done. My wife and I read your book and we loved ever moment that it took to finish it. Sadly my dear wife died on 26 August in her beloved Netherlands and her funeral took place in Breda on 2 September. Hi there, how about a trip to Dubai?
Our reading group is discussing your book tonight. My friend was so moved by the book she actually wrote to you, only the second time she has felt the rug to communicate with an author. To be honest we had huge problems getting your book here, no doubt the Jewish aspects didn’t go down well. However 8 of us have managed to actually buy and read the book. I for one can’t wait to find out what others think.

I’m the manager of the English Bookshop in Bern, and we’re discussing your book tonight in our monthly Reading Circle. It’ll be interesting to see what the expats (and Swiss) make of it. Some of them last saw England in the 1950s!
With my other hat on, I’m a travel writer and the author of Swiss Watching, a travel lit book about my new homeland. Published in London in June, it’s been the No1 bestseller in Switzerland this summer. And I too have had many emails and comments from readers, so I know what it means to you to get them (and how much work is involved).

One day, realising I had been reading only books by long dead males, I went to Desire Books, in search of the anima, and, eureka, there was Mr. Rosenblum’s List- and, random pick up or what- serendipity flows- it is so natural, fluent, real, timeless…and goddam funny- absolutely inspiring…thankyou.
