Hello Natasha,

I just read your book, and it is amazing. The ending was sad but I was glad they finally had a place to call ‘home’. I am doing Media Studies for my degree and your book is one of our core texts. We have to relate multiculturalism, feminism, and signs to your story. I don’t know why, but it took me some time to understand the story, maybe because I was looking at your story in depth for my analysis.

I have just finished your novel about the Viola and I enjoyed it sooo much; as many others in your blog: I just could not put the book down and stayed awake the whole night until 5.30 a.m. (and hoped my baby would not wake up ! I am living in Vienna and am so glad about the vivid picture you gave about Jewish prewar-life in this wonderful city, on the other hand of course, everything is so sad…I wept alot during reading it!

I have just finished “The House at Tyneford”. Born and raised on a farm in Yorkshire, I have been living in the USA since 1985. I have rarely read a book that so vividly describes the English countryside – you took me back to my childhood. Could not put the book down – wonderful story. Will be recommending it to my avid book-reading friends. Thank you so much Natasha.

Hi Ford – I’m really looking forward to the German edition of the book. I’ve really enjoyed chatting with the translator – some of the English names/ places are very difficult to translate.

VERY, VERY good book — I loved it! It was so hard to put down and I was sad that it had to end. You are such a talented author — I just bought another one of your books, Mr. Rosenblum Dreams in English. Can’t wait to start it!
